Biomechanics of Shame

This piece portrays the physics and physicality of shame, reverberated through muscle. This is predominantly reflected through the use of water, fabric, grass, and body. My photographic practice is the reflection of my work’s mission - empowering women to stand up to oppression by overcoming shame and coming into the power of true self. This is the invisible battle against judgement, misogyny, humiliation, rights deprivation, verbal violence and torture by some aspects of various cultures and traditions
